Major Accomplishments 2008Our greatest victory in years came with passage of the Act Concerning Environmental Justice Communities and Storage of Absestos Containing Materials, Connecticut's first environmental justice law. Further successes included securing firm dates for new safety classifications of dental amalgam and passing laws to reduce lead in children's toys.
