Asthma Speakers' Bureau

The FCEJN Asthma Speakers’ Bureau(ASB) is comprised of men and women who give their time and expertise to speak to groups in the community about asthma. FCEJN developed this speakers’ bureau to help the Bridgeport community reach a better understanding of issues related to asthma. Our primary objective is to create awareness about this potentially fatal disease. The speakers help people recognize the symptoms and triggers of asthma as well as understand the relationship of environmental hazards, such as air pollution, to asthma.

The Asthma Speakers’ Bureau is a free resource for businesses, civic groups, community organizations, parent groups, youth organizations, senior citizen groups, women’s and men’s groups, professional organizations, faith-based organizations, and other groups that are located in the City of Bridgeport.
